The Texas Region, State and Local Government Business Development Executive (BDE) will be responsible for ensuring that his or her territory meets or exceeds stated sales goals. This will be accomplished primarily through the following:

  • Serves as Key Personnel in role of Business Development Executive on the Texas Department of Information Resources Managed Application Services (TX DIR MAS) master contract to drive business through the contract vehicle.
  • Drives efforts to expand and grow Perspecta market share and presence through establishment and cultivation of ongoing relationships at the project director level with existing and prospective clients, including all Texas government agencies and other eligible entities and educational institutions.
  • Targets potential leads and pursuits, plans and selects most appropriate sales strategies and approaches.
  • Educates the client on the merits of Perspecta’s contract vehicle and range of knowledge and technology capabilities and expertise; leverages government, industry and financial business knowledge to create demand and persuade through the creation and presentation of compelling purchasing rationales.
  • Assists pursuit teams in crafting and positioning deals and closing.
  • Responsible for managing demand and quickly qualifying opportunities.

Qualifications

Requires 16+ years with BS/BA or 14+ years with MS/MA or 10+ years with Ph.D.
