- Serve as The Lead software Architect for a diverse team of engineers and technicians delivering mission-critical software in an Agile environment. - provide technical subject matter expertise and direction across all software architecture tasks. - oversee The evolution and maintenance of The CCS software architecture to ensure performance, interoperability and conformance with standards across multiple platforms. validate The architecture against requirements. provide technical direction to other functional areas to ensure timely delivery of software meeting mission requirements. - work with various vehicle and service developers to create High-quality software products containing required features and modifications. - Review and evaluate software architecture and design for adherence to Government directives, standards, and guidelines.Qualifications:
Required Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications - Top Secret/SCI clearance. - Bachelor’s degree in any combination of the following: Engineering (Aeronautical, Electrical, Mechanical, etc.), Physical Sciences, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Physics. - Ten (10) years experience as a software architect or software engineer. - Seven (7) years specific experience with architecture design, test and development to modify/improve functionality. - Must be a team player and possess a strong ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team as well as work independently with minimal supervision. - Must demonstrate experience working of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), N-Tier architecture - Demonstrate working knowledge of Software configuration management, DevOps, Integration testing - Experience with UML, C++, JAVA - Strong written and oral communications. Desired Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications: - Masters Degree in one of the disciplines listed above. - Three (3) years recent experience developing, integrating and testing software for unmanned systems (UxS), including UAVs. - Recent systems engineering experience supporting NAVAIR or another Navy enterprise partner. - Experience using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approaches. - Knowledge of and experience with the UCS standard.
