Responsibilities

HUMINT Targeting Officer - Sr.

  • Program provides timely, accurate and efficient support to HUMINT collection operations within the Defense of Defense (DoD).  The tasks covered in this position are for target development, and operational or strategic support to national-level DoD efforts.
  • Conduct intelligence research and create cables, trace responses, network diagrams and asset validation products. Provide intelligence analysis to collection platforms throughout the world.
  • Provide detailed input to asset validation panels in support of Chief-INT, to determine current and future viability of sources.
  • Represent defense HUMINT in agency, defense and national forums, and produce and give briefings as necessary.
  • Brief products produced in the above tasks at meetings, workshops, or other community venues for the purposes of intelligence sharing and best practices.
  • Edit products, if requested. The Government Technical Manager may identify need for corrective action and/or revision of products submitted. Minor corrections to format, style and language should be made within the working day. For major corrections, contract employees shall have up to three working days to make adjustments. If more time is needed, the on-site lead should coordinate with the Government Task Manager.

Qualifications

  • Current TS/SCI with ability to pass a CI polygraph
  • Ideal candidate will possess an active TS/SCI with polygraph.
  • Atleast three (3) years of national level HUMINT targeting experience.
  • At least eight (8) years experience in IC/DoD.
  • Experience with SIGINT tools and Open Source Research.
  • Have experience in tagging data and building networks using Palantir, or similar software.
  • Possess the ability to create network diagrams using Palantir, Analyst Notebook, or other similar tools, and have experience with Geo Metadata Analysis and Pattern of Life development using ArcGIS, Google Earth, Palantir, or other appropriate or equivalent tools.
  • Possess the ability to:
    • Effectively communicate verbally and in writing in English
    • Clearly and concisely express multifaceted concepts
    • Develop ideas in a logical sequence leading to a validated conclusion.
  • Have working knowledge and experience with the basic personal computer, Windows Operating System, and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
