Army CIO-G6 Enterprise Cloud Management Office (ECMO) with Data Architecture, Cloud Triage, and Migration Support project.
Supports strategic planning and process re-engineering rapid ideation workshops (e.g., Event Storming, Design Thinking); working with ECMO and identified stakeholders to map as-is operations, identify process and technology bottlenecks; recommendations for process/people/ technology improvements; and development of a future operational status.
Support project management team with the development of an overarching Project Plan that captures all ongoing activities and their stage of completion. As each Task is identified by the ECMO, the contractor and ECMO leadership will develop a notional budget for the task including key elements such as time to complete, resources assigned, areas of risk, risk management/resolution steps, and expected outcomes. Support the production of a Monthly Activity Report (MAR), Pipeline Report, and a Monthly In-Progress Review (IPR) that captures the status of all ongoing activities in a Microsoft Project (or its equivalent) style Gantt chart. The MAR shall also provide current data on all personnel on staff, onboarding and off boarding activities, costs incurred to date, issues, concerns, and any other relevant project management information required by the ECMO.
Assumes the responsibility for the scheduling of technical projects. Involved in one project or numerous projects. Responsibilities include a wide range of duties involving initial job planning, scheduling of time, scheduling of materials, coordination of subcontractors, monitoring of job progress, analysis of changes, and problem solving. Develops plans including budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for several major portions of a program. Establishes and defines program plan requirements and directs or performs in-depth studies to determine optimum program plans. Coordinates interdepartmental development of program plans. Interfaces with vendors and customers and performs extensive investigations as required. Produces the contractor's Initial Schedule and then updates the schedule throughout the program. Uses the schedule to analyze the impact of change orders, delays, and any other schedule disruptions. Works very closely with the project manager and the subcontractors during the preparations and updating of the schedule. Produces critical scheduling information for the project team's use. Monitors performance reports against plans to ensure that contractual, cost and schedule objectives are met; arranges modifications as required.Qualifications
Requires 5 to 8 years with BS/BA or 3 to 5 years with MS/MA or 0 to 2 years with PhD.
Experienced developing and managing project schedules from the design phase through implementation; and communicating project status to ensure milestones are met. Skilled with coordinating with task, subtask, and project teams and stakeholders.
Familiar with Microsoft Project and developing work breakdown structures.About Perspecta
